Many people worry about installation complications and the need for a professional team. However, the modular design of the floating floor simplifies installation into just three steps: preparation – joining – finishing. A single person can complete a 20-square-meter garage in just one day.
Basic Preparation: First, clean the floor (as long as it’s flat and free of sharp protrusions, concrete, tile, or wood floors can be laid directly without demolishing the existing surface). Then, use a tape measure to plan the laying direction based on the dimensions of the space (for example, for a basketball court, lay along the long side for a more organized look).
Jointing: Starting in a corner, align the clips on the first floorboard with the slots on the second. A gentle tap secures the floor. If it’s a basketball court, you can also mark lines on the floor with chalk beforehand to ensure alignment after joining, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable workout. Final Inspection: After laying the floor, press down on the snap-on joints to confirm they are not loose. For outdoor use, secure the edges with pressure strips (optional accessories) to prevent them from accidentally lifting.
We provide customized installation solutions for different scenarios—for example, for amusement parks, we recommend two layers (for added cushioning), while garages can add padding in the load-bearing areas. This ensures optimal floor performance for each scenario.
